Briefing

Biotope, a startup incubator focused on agritech, biomaterials, and biotech, puts out two calls per year for founders from around the world to apply for their unique basecamp program. To craft their offer of tailored support, they curate an exceptional community of mentors and investors.

Biotope needed a dynamic, strategic approach to social media management and content creation that could foster global reach, create meaningful connections, and reinforce their position as a unique player in the startup ecosystem.

Approach

  • New website
    Together with web developer Eskidoos, we created an entirely new online platform for biotope.

  • Content creation
    Developed a steady stream of high-quality, targeted content tailored to attract agritech and biotech founders, highlight program benefits, and showcase the success stories of portfolio companies.

  • Social media management
    Planning, copy, and visuals to grow biotope’s following base on LinkedIn.

  • Podcast 
    Conceptualized and launched a podcast series interviewing mentors and successful founders, to create an accessible platform for sharing biotope’s expertise and opportunities.

  • Newsletters
    Created and managed visually engaging, informative newsletters and worked with ambassadors to amplify reach and ensure key updates resonated with both founders and the wider ecosystem.

Outcome

This integrated approach resulted in a steady stream of applications to the biotope basecamp program from a diverse and international pool of founders. The biotope team was able to strengthen its relationships with mentors and investors, and doubled its LinkedIn follower base.
